Here’s a little about me, Caroline

Rooted in Real Life

Since childhood, anxiety has been both my constant companion and my heaviest burden. Having lived with generalised anxiety and panic disorder, I understand first-hand the relentless nature of obsessive worry, the overwhelming dread, the consuming panic, the constant state of alertness you find yourself in.

Yet even in the depths of hopelessness, there was always a part of me that reached for peace, for calm, for happiness. It’s this quiet, determined part that has lifted me back to health time and again, a part I believe exists in all of us.

I didn’t set out to become a counsellor. For over 20 years, I built a career in IT across both the public and private sectors — climbing the ladder, taking on increasing responsibility, and achieving professional success.

My purpose didn’t arrive in a flash of clarity, but through honest moments of reflection, realising that the work that brought me the most meaning was in supporting those around me. What once felt unbearable has become part of my story, not something that controls me. In healing from anxiety, I came to see that my pain helped shape the path to my purpose. Without it, I wouldn’t be here, doing the work I love.

I am dedicated to working with women who are ready to lighten their emotional load and reconnect with who they truly are. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply do not know what you need - I will meet you where you are to support you in rediscovering your strength and moving toward a life that feels more balanced, joyful, and authentic.

Therapy can be a powerful step toward healing, you deserve to feel supported every step of the way.

I’d love to connect with you and start your healing journey.

Your Therapy

My approach to counselling is holistic and uniquely tailored to you. I firmly believe that you are the expert on yourself — even if, right now, that might feel far from true. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore the issues causing you stress, gently uncovering their roots and working together to find ways of navigating life with greater ease and self-understanding.

We’ll work at your pace. Sometimes that means moving quickly; other times, certain parts of you may need space, time, and compassion to be heard and understood. I’ll hold that space for you — a space where all your experiences and emotions are welcome. Every part of you holds a positive intention, even those that feel difficult or confusing. Through curiosity and care, we can begin to understand their purpose and gently work with them to heal the pain they’ve been protecting.

My counselling work is informed by a range of therapeutic modalities and frameworks, and I’m committed to ongoing professional development. This allows me to adapt our work to suit your unique needs and goals. Some of the approaches I draw from include:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Person-Centred Therapy

  • Mindfulness

  • Grounding Techniques

  • Trauma-Informed Practice

  • Creative Therapy Techniques

You might find that, over time, you feel lighter, more grounded, and more connected to yourself. Many clients describe a growing sense of clarity, self-compassion, and confidence in facing life’s challenges. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you can rediscover your inner strength and begin to feel more at home in yourself.
